Ughhh.... so I've totally been flaking out from blogging... I've gone into crafting overdrive... so here's a little of what I've been up to.....
I saw these leg warmers on Pintrest and decided that I must own them, so I busted out the old crochet hook and made my own look-alike. Whadya think! She was selling them for $85.00, my total supply costs where; 2 skeens of regular yarn 10 NIS/each, two packages of buttons 2.50NIS/each = 25.00 NIS (New Israeli Shekel) divide that by 4 = $6.25 Is how much i paid for my new leg warmers!!! WOOHOOO!
and ohhhh dear... Picasa has just warned me that I can no longer add pictures with out taking some off..... What to dooo?? ohhh Noo!?!?!?
Have you ever looked into your closet and said "UGH I have nothing to Wear?" Fear No more I've gone through the trouble of calculating the combinations and permutations, and a wardrobe of 110 pieces calculates to a total over 65 Quadrillion Possibilities! We could go a life time attempting to try all the combinations and never come close to wearing them all! This realization has spawned the birth of this Blog. Join me on my Possibly Infinite Journey through A Quadrillion and One New Outfits.

More Mintspiration
single necklace |
layered necklaces |
<- this way
.....or.....
this way ->
??????
Can you believe that when I was buying this dress I was actually worried
that I wouldn't have anything that would match with it!?! Bringing it home
right away and matching it with the items I already own, made me feel confident
that my latest purchase was a great one! A summery trend right now is to layer
many many necklaces that are similar but different. I tried this look out a
couple time with this dress. The single necklace outfit is more streamlined and
simpler and a little fancier than the layered look. Layering the necklaces gave
the dress a more casual, earthy bohemian feel. Which look do you like better?
This dress has the incredible ability to appear very fancy or just semi- casual, which means I will be more likely to wear it. How fancy I look will only depend on the accessories that I pair with the dress. This is why I really played around with my accessories to find new ways to wear them. I particularly love this look just below, I layered pretty much all of my gold chains that I own and paired it with a less expensive brass pendant wing necklace, and the look is boho-fabulous with a little shine. A great daytime/ lunch time outfit!
This dress does wonders for my ridiculously square shoulders. The dress's asymmetrical design cuts diagonally across the widest part of my shoulders, which makes them look more petite. (a super great thing when you feel blockish and square like me )
So I know my blog is usually about finding new outfits from old things, and trying to be thrifty with your money. But a beautiful dress, at a sale price, with a friend that was chanting adoring & encouraging words I was practically set up. So glad I did, you have to treat yourself once in awhile, how else are you supposed to stay straight?

Finding Mintspiration
So I did, and I took it home and I was so excited and I felt so inspired by my new mint dress that the moment I got home I began to mix and match my new mint dress with my accessories and shoes! It took me about an hour but I created 10 great ways to wear my spectacular mint dress. The next time I am busy getting ready and I want to wear my mint dress I won't even have to think because I have invented some great looks already with this dress ahead of time I can just throw it all on and won't even have to debate if it looks good or not! When I am under pressure to get ready I can never make a decision on time and always end up choosing the easiest "safe" option. This way my choices are easy, I pick an already arranged outfit that suits my mood that day. Also planning and coordinating outfits regularly actually makes it easier to mix and match on the spot because you already kinda have an idea of what accessories/shoes work with what colours you have in your closet.

I used to own a mint double breasted cropped mint jacket, it was honestly one of my most favourite pieces of clothing of all time. That is until a rogue pair of pink panties got mixed into my lights and brights laundry load and my mint jacket came out with pink splotches all over. I tried everything to get the pink out but the splotches wouldn't budge the jacket was ruined. It was a sad day in North York the day my mint jacket died.... RIP

XO~ stay cool, stay comfortable,
STAY MINTY!
Mint came back into fashion this summer season and I hope it sticks
around. Mint has always been a favourite of mine. I swear the colour mint evens
out my skin tone and makes me look way more tanned than I actually am, and for
my pastie white ass that's a great thing!
Stay
tuned there are already more mintspirational outfits in production and I have a
feeling there will be even more in the near future!
STAY MINTY!

Ocean Goddess Makeup
As a makeup artist the look
tested my creativity and skills, I had never done something so
"crazy" before. While working full time as a makeup artist my work
focused on bridal and everyday makeup applications so I am used to creating
feminine and gentle looks. This look is so far from gentle and soft, it is so
strong, LOUD, colourful and powerful. So totally not the Norm...
+
This look would be perfect for an Ocean Goddess, or a wild night out. I would just love to have a girls night out where we all wear crazy makeup done by me! That would be fun! I hope you like my wild design!
