Look Hot Stay Cool Part Three

 

So it's September 19th  and the temperature here still hits over 30°C daily, so in my ongoing quest too look my best and feel my best, I've devised a plan to keep me cool as the sun continues to cook us in the Mediterranean . This post is the third and final installment of Look Hot Stay Cool. I am using probably one of the most comfortable lightweight casual tank tops out there, to create looks that will keep me cool and fashionable!

The above look is certainly not for everyone but it's a fun bright look that I most certainly love! This ensemble is a head turner due to the volume of high voltage pink. When I feel like I need  attention I will be wearing this outfit!

An ultra casual tank top can be transformed to look sophisticated with the right accessories. This outfit would be great for a night out on the town with the girls!

This skirt is excellent when I am in the mood to look sporty which is great for a casual weekend afternoon! This look is definitely cute, girly, fun and energetic totally me! Look Hot Stay Cool

   

      

    So the summer is nearing it's end, but it's still scorching here with temperatures hitting 40 Celsius daily it's hard to stay cool.  If you ask me it's actually much too hot for clothing, but as much as I would love getting away with wearing my bikini all day everyday it's just not an option. That is why today I will begin a three part series named Look Hot Stay Cool,  where I will find hidden ways to stay comfortable  and still look fashionable! 

      So in my quest to Look Hot an Stay Cool, I found this lovely little tank top on sale for half price. I picked it up off the rack and my husband shared with my how cute he thought it was, a buying sign, so quickly tried it on and then I was sold.  It is by S.wear, a brand made by Hanes clothing, it's basically the most comfortable clothing on the face of the earth, and it's not all pajamas, although most of it I would classify only acceptable to wear while exercising, sleeping, beaching, or cleaning. Which is obviously a huge hit here, because Israel is probably one of the most casually dressed populations I have ever encountered.  The weather here during the summer is not bearable for most, just wearing a necklace can make me feel sweaty and uncomfortable and if my shoes are too warm, I'm gonna cook... and  forget wearing my hair down, I might as well be wearing a fur coat... so it's hot here... I like it.. actually I love it... there is nothing like blistering heat, I'm usually cold so I like when it's HOT. But to Look Hot and Stay Cool is a brand new Lesson for me. I used to think Fashion & Beauty was suffering, no pain no gain. Well friends I am here to tell you that it's not all true..

           When the temperature soars it can be a challenge to look fashionable and put together. So I have taken it upon myself to create some scorching hot looks, that will manage to keep me feeling cool, when the thermometer is about to burst! To get a feel for the versatility of my new shirt I've used it in all the Look Hot Stay Cool looks. 


   

      In order too Look Hot and Stay Cool, I chose light weight items, skirts, and sandals, and I kept the accessories subtle and to a minimum. When the temperature is rising, less (everything) is so much more!

Sports Shorts Disguised

     I have this amazing pair of shorts that I absolutely love! They are everything I need in a pair of shorts; not too short, comfortable, flattering and fun! I really want to be able to wear them everyday, so I have created outfits that are great for any occasion. 

These shorts are more on the sportier side, and tend to look extremely casual. Which is quite alright for some days, but most certainly not  for all. By pairing the causal, sporty shorts with other dressier pieces the over all look becomes fun and purposely put together. 

 

   I was surprised by the shorts versatility, despite their casualness, they worked together with pieces like my cropped grey suit jacket, which I never imagined could be possible! I just needed a little creativity, and in that moment these never seen and never worn before outfits were born.

     "GOLD!"

     I tell you just sitting there in our closets waiting to be discovered.

     

My sporty shorts mingled with my business casual pieces until mix match harmonies were found and documented. All were happy on this glorious occasion, for I will forever be comfy and cool wearing my lightweight boarding shorts in disguise  as everyday fashionable clothing!  The flexibility of your sporty shorts will surprise you, they are the gymnasts in our closets! 

Wear Your White For Once

Sooooo we all love the colour white, some of us are afraid to wear it, I know my mom doesn't own white clothing only because she thinks the colour washes her out, some people think it makes them look bigger like my husband,  my sister in-law has twin boys aged three and well she rather not wear white because she already has her share of stains to take care of... Me I love white always have and always will, but  I make a mess and stain my whites just like the everyone else and that is why God, I mean Proctor & Gamble made Tide Pens! (I just about always have one in my purse)

White is a refreshing neutral that works well with so many colours, just fiddle around with some of your accessories and I'm sure you'll find a new fresh look that you'll        feel comfortable wearing ! 

So I noticed I've been avoiding my white linen pants I seriously had not worn them in ages.... and why would that be? Well first and foremost white pants can be overwhelming and make you look overdone, if not accessorized correctly. So most importantly we need to plan outfits ahead of time to make sure those white pants don't wear us.

I've compiled BRAND NEW OUTFITS that I have never ever worn before, in an attempt to circulate the white pants back into my everyday wardrobe. After I organized these outfits I had a holiday family dinner to go to and got the perfect chance to wear one of my brand new outfits, I felt like a million bucks and I knew I looked good!

You bought those white pants, live a little on the wild side, and wear your white for once!
